There is no work from this project at this time. If you check the Status page you can see that the scheduler is at this moment restricted to Pirates' local domain testing. Actually, in this case the scheduler was restricted to see what effect this has on the query rate for the database. I've added some details about the database server on the status page. I'll be keeping an eye on the queries/sec rate under various circumstances. For comparison, Einstein@Home usually operates at about 200 queries/sec, and their recent problems have driven it up to around 900 queries/sec. (Bruce thinks he knows the cause, and is working on changes that should bring this back down to a reasonable value.) Yes, and I had hoped that by not filling in the reason on the form it would not send any e-mail, it would just do it. I was mistaken.
