Wiki upgrade and testing
(Message 7831)
Posted 1787 days ago by ![]() I was able to edit a page and create a user page in the Wiki. I pressed the log out button at the top of the wiki and was taken back to the main Pirates site. Going back to the Wiki, the Pirate's Glossary page shows that I am still logged in. Every other page showed that no body was logged in. I couldn't convince it to show me logged out on the Pirate's Glossary page; I even closed down the browser. I didn't flush my cache yet, but I could try that next. No proxy servers here at the office. |

Mechanical Turk
(Message 7336)
Posted 1949 days ago by ![]() Actually, the underlying code is still not correct. Currently there are 151 users with Turk credit. If you change the link to be: http://pirates.spy-hill.net/top_turks.php?sort_by=turk_credit&offset=101 so that you get the last 50, you still get the "Next Page" link which still gives the error I mentioned. |

Mechanical Turk
(Message 7328)
Posted 1950 days ago by ![]() Currently it appears there are 150 people who have solved the Mechanical Turk. If you look at the "Top Turks", when you get to page 3 with entries 101 to 150, there is a "Next Page" link at the bottom. If you select the link, you get: Unable to handle request Error -- no data to display. |

Your account truncated?
(Message 7026)
Posted 2020 days ago by ![]() Looking at the "Your account" page, it seems to be a bit truncated. The page ends at my Gold Dubloons and doesn't list the pending results, results, etc. Also, looking at the page source, there seems to be an error. The is definitely no </body> or no </html>. Arrr. |

cube 5.13
(Message 6039)
Posted 2222 days ago by ![]() I noticed something interesting with the graphics while running a Cube 5.13 work unit. If I maximize the graphic or drag the window to be a full size of the screen (but not maximized), the text "Pirates@Home" doesn't appear any more. If I start making it a little smaller than maximized, it appears, although some of the pixels in the text are missing. It is running much slower as it gets larger, which I attribute to the poor video card in the laptop. I have included a screen capture of what I see. ![]() |
