As desired by Wormholio in this thread of the Help! Board I reopen this issue here at number crunching.

As described by Martin P. the problem still remains that the information shown by the "Your Account" page is limited to Email address, Name, URL, Country and Postal Code. All other information is no longer visible.

I verified this whith three different computers where one of them has his first contact to Pirates@home so that nothing could be read out of the browser cache. My ISP does not use any proxy servers so this case can be excluded.

Any ideas about that?

I have an idea what is causing this. It turns out to be a bit strange.

Before I make the change that I think I need to fix this, can you check to see if it is still a problem now that you have posted to the forums. It appears to me that this bug will only bite those who have never posted. Once you post, you bypass the bug. Weird, eh?

Anybody else lurking out there who wants to try it? Check "Your Account" and if it's incomplete as described above then post a "me too" and then try it again.

Thanks for doing all that checking before you posted, it was a very complete bug report. And welcome to the crew.

Arrrggghhh!!!

This is really weird, indeed! If I had taken another look at that page after my post yesterday I would have been surprised by a working page on demand!

Now I know the reason why Martin doesn't repeat his post here. Is this all related to cookies or is it a server (php or rights) issue?

Thanks for helping out!

So I fixed this little bug. Here is what happened. When it was composing the page it got to the part where it was going to report your forum activities. It checked to see if you had made any posts at all, or if you were banished. But the check to see if the user was banished failed because it had not yet created the user object. The code was out of order.

If you had made a posting then it didnt' need to check whether you were banished. So anybody who had posted at any time did not see a problem.

If you had the problem and posted to the forums to say so, then the problem went away.

So now we need some lurker who's never posted anything to check their account page and see that there is no such problem. And then post to tell us so. Don't be shy now. Anybody care to help out?
