I have noticed recently that hotmail seems to be more inclined than before to bounce e-mail from Pirates@Home. In the past two days I've gotten back several otherwise standard notices (Pirate of the Day, subscription notices). Perhaps there is something hotmail users need to set to allow e-mail from our domain to get through the filters?

Most bounces from Googlegroups come from Hotmail too. If I remember correctly Hotmail will auto-suspend an account if it is not logged into at least once every thirty days.

One thing to try is to add "pirates@spy-hill.net" to your contacts, so that the hotmail servers don't treat the reply from our server as spam. I don't know if this will work.

Doesn't work. Nor does adding the domain to the "allowed senders". The problem seems to be at the hotmail gateway, not the user's mailbox.
