They are crunching OK for me (the last version of 6.10 of the CC) but I can't check graphics because any time (still) I try to show graphics, the manager crashes. Same as before.

Someday I might get this box updated to a new version of Fedora (unlikely) or a new distro (probably aptosid I as told you before).

As if we would abandon ship that easily. .-)

BTW I was looking hard and could not find any visible link to the Applications page somewhere from the Main Page.

I have had trouble finding too, even though I know it's there, so I moved it. See what you think about the new position. Is it any better than the old?

I like it. :)

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Very good capt'n! Care to share what you broke?

*ducks and prepares for Mess Duty*

The e-mail system on the whole server was not set up properly after the system upgrade.

I'm glad to hear that it works again now. But I may break it again. I will change it over from sendmail to postfix. Hopefully nobody will notice...

I think you broke it again. I didn't get the mail about your post in this thread.

Yup, because I'm subscribed to this thread and I didn't get a notification of your post.

I'm not getting the verification email. I've tried a couple times over the few days. It's going to a gmail address. It's not showing up in spam. I shouldn't have a problem with the domain. :)

This is on Fedora 10, right? Because I also tested it on Fedora 10 and it worked for me.

I seem to recall reading something about Xorg configuration settings that ignore xhost and require stronger access controls, but I don't recall the details. And it's strange that it would be different on two machines both with Fedora 10.

Yes. 64 bit Fedora 10. KDE as the desktop, FWIW. You're not using any of those fancy smancy window managers, are you? :)

Per Rom's message to the alpha list, I checked if it does the same without fiddling with the xhost permissions and it does. The manager crashes just as hard. I rebooted because I didn't now how to change the xhost stuff back to default.

I'll also add I just upgraded to 6.10.36 (the latest Linux alpha) and the manager still crashes.

I'll email the list and point them to these threads.
