Because of the hang out problem on scroll units with the Christmas message (which was nice), if you were not in front of your PC the unit would keep going until it got stucked at 48% of advance (if you were present in front of your PC and put the graphics, the unit would finish in 3 minutes, repeat if you were there), but in my case the problem was that it prevented the other programs from starting. It just kept going on for hours - and I knew this because I had to go out of home and 6 hours later when back, there it was, all stucked.

Had to unsuscribe from project and reinitiate my CPU otherwise BOINC could not work. After that everything else got back on tracks.

Now, everything else is working fine, but I do not get any Pirates@home units.
CPU is 2.7GHz WXP 1 running 24/7

Hope next units have no bugs of this kind.

I can't know for sure, but I'd say this workunit was made specifically for screensaver mode, when the graphics are working the full time. I wasn't here looking over the computer for the whole time, but I left it running on Boinc screensaver and all workunits were processed as they were intended to.
I would dare say that this was not a bug but rather a feature of the workunit itself, but that would be a question to the coders only. If that was the case, then maybe just a warning to the community before it's launch would be in order.
All in all... I liked it! But they were so many and coming in on groups of three that at a point I got tired of looking at it. lol

Well there is no problem, I already got a few more, which I was at home so I put the graphics to work. Now going to bed I will leave the screensaver on just in case. Anyway I even got a 0.5 credit on one of them :-)

I hope this is over now.

I kept getting a MD5 error for the .txt file. So all the units that i had tried downloading errored out right off the bat.

I came back from a multi day vacation to discover that one of my boinc crunchers had stalled. Some of us cannot run the screensaver because our configuration is not supported for screensaver by boinc.
