Unluckily the demand is large and the ship's treasure chest is already empty. I hope there will be no revolt and fight for the videos. Folks, keep calm, as far as I get some, I swear I'll leave you the rest.

Infinitely better although there are still a few just-perceptable steps but that might just be my ageing GF 440 graphics.

Wow! What a difference. I think the graphics with the window maximized look better on the aging P4 than they do on the new computer (running Fedora). No slide show effect at all. I'm not even sure I see the hiccup I used to see on an RPC. But that might just the general business of the background graphics.

Also still amazed that my older laptops can even run the graphics. Ray Murray wrote: Some Dr Who style theme music and your away. One of the things I enjoyed when getting this hack ready was seeing code like this: #ifdef GET_SUED_BY_THE_BBC # include "images/tardis.xpm" # include "images/whologo.xpm" # include "images/whohead1.xpm" /* #include "images/whohead_psy.xpm" */ # endif /* GET_SUED_BY_THE_BBC */ Those xpixmaps were nowhere to be found, or else we could start our own pirate BBC BOINC project :-) ____________ -- Eric Myers "Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire." -- William Butler Yeats

I just finished watching the two computers side by side (oh my head).

Looks good on my little laptop... there is a barley-noticable pause/step but certainly a vast (avast?!) improvement!

I like the true wormhole effect (after the two lines going into the square all blue tunnel effect. That wormhole, without any graphics in it I can stand for hours if needed. :)

Looks good, runs smoothly here. I also like the wormhole effect, would be great if it could change it's color while flying through it :-D
