I know some feel it has been a little bit boring here lately, but that does not mean that nothing has been happening. First, I belive I have found the cause of the problems with the 'hello' application on Linux. You can read more about it here. Initial tests are encouraging, and we'll test it more thoroughly soon. Next, we'll be upgrading to the latest development version of BOINC soon. The thing that has held us back is the need to deal with code variations between three separate projects. I have set up CVS repositories for the two that I can control, and some scripts to manage correlations between them. An added bonus of this is that I can use this to distribute the source code for Pirates apps via CVS, not just tarballs. On few projects we've seen users being UOTD more consecutive days in a row (yes, a bug on the project's side, maybe their capt's fell asleep or got drunk, oficially called less priority problem, doesn't matter). If this would happened here, would it mean more doubloons? ____________ Peter .-)
