Aye Cap'n, I do believe this might have been arsked about before, But I thought it would be useful if thar was a number of posts limit per page, And then going to Page 2, Etc. Making it alot easier for us lazier pirates to see the latest posts, Instead of having to wait for every post to load and scrolling all the way down to read the lastest texts. Also would be easier if the option of Sort by Newest post were an option also ? If the Cap'n don't mind me say'n so that is. Cheers ! G^R

The lower you set those two parameters, the fewer old messages will precede the current ones in long threads. You can also set the “Jump to first new post” checkbox, which doesn’t make the page load any faster, but saves your having to scroll down yourself. ____________ Was that a Siren I heard?

Per one of the BOINC devs setting your post prefs to 5/5 is a good way to help limit your view to new posts. ____________

It’s not quite what you’re after, but in your message board preferences, under “Display and Behavior”, you can set a threshold number of posts beyond which you’ll only be shown a given number.
