How to compile a test-app for windows with linux? I've succesfully compiled BOINC-Server with Suse Linux and installed a test-project now i want to generate work and deliver it to my windows-client.
Don't have experience with cross-os-builds only can build for Windows with Visual Studio and for linux with ./configure make.
Can I use the Hello App provided by Eric Myers?
Just testing today perhaps it works fine, but i guess not.

Good question. I'm using MSVC++ 7 to compile for Pirates@Home.
Notes on what I've been doing, including hello, yello, etc. are
on the "developers" link on the Pirates home page, though I'm behind
in keeping things up to date (and BOINC is still a moving target).

Also, the boinc_dev mailing list is a good place for these kinds of questions, and there is an archive of past discussions.

Thanks for the answer.
I already checked out the tools you provided and want to make some improvements to the install process, wich is very difficult i think. I also subscribed to boinc_dev. I will take a look in the Archiv too.

Therefore i have to make my apache2 running again. It won't start since the weekend without any reason.
