Hello,

I tried few minutes ago to execute your script to install boinc automaticly on osx, but it stopped with this error message :

>doesn't understand the stop_boinc message.

(> is displayed in blue, and stop_boinc in green)
hope this will help (screen shot available)
OS 10.3.7 French

Yes, I had this problem too. There was a conflict between a variable name and a function name, which has now been fixed.

The latest version 4.37 should work, though it does not open the volume in the icon view so that you can see the "double click here" message.

Ok, this part is fine. After the script asks for the url and account ID, after entering the ID I got a message : The variable boinc_backup_folder is not defined. Then it stops.

Best Regards
Phil

Okay, let's try it again. New version just posted. Even gives you core client 4.16

This time it seems to be ok.
I asked to keep the old accounts xml files, not to run at start up (I'm still using seti classic on OSX) and run boinc before finishing the script. All ok until the end :-) Great ! It'll be very simpler ans faster to do it now. Many thanks !

Thank you for the feedback, and watch for further improvements when I get some time for this.
