I have been running this WU for over three hours now but, it shows only 0:00:05 run time, and I am getting these error messages;
restarting wu_1175793440_2480_1-message timeout
restarting wu_1175793440_2480_1 using cube version 511
[error] process #### not found (the # replaces numbers in actual message.)
Anyone have any ideas about this problem? Should I abort the WU?

It's a BOINC problem and you should be able to ignore it as a harmless message. Although apparently not on Pirates.

There's a fix in it for the next BOINC version (presently being alpha tested).

I tried to ignore it but, after twenty-four hours of running, and still showing only five seconds of runtime and 1.720% completion, I went ahead and aborted the WU.

That is quite reasonable. The Intel Mac's are supposed to run the PPC app in "emulation" mode, but I don't know how well that has been tested, and this seems to suggest a problem. And we like uncovering problems (so they can be fixed).

Keep a weather eye on the progress of the BOINC alpha testers and you may find you are willing to be a lab rat again to get this working right.

Thanks for the reports and the patience.

I thought You might like to know, I am running a PC with an AMD Sempron 2500+ processor, 1 Gig of ram, a 160 Gig HD and Win XP Home. On the same machine I also have Ubuntu V 6.10.
