For the other project I'm working on I can image a separate discussion forum ('room') for each teacher working together with her/his students, and possibly with scientists involved in the experiment that produced the data they are working with. I hope it will be an active and productive discussion. I hope there will be thousands of them. But at some point the activity will end and the 'room' will no longer be needed, and keeping it in the list will only get in the way.

We don't want to delete it, but it should not be listed amongst the active rooms or accessible to anybody else save the participants (and perhaps develpers or managers). It should be "put in the attic".

It turns out there seems to be an easy way to do this. To test this,
I've moved both the discussion forum on preferences and the entire science discussion category (two forums) to the 'attic'. We can bring them back if they are needed, but until then they are packed away.
