I hope to be able to test soon a new version of the download page, which will allow users to download the BOINC core from Berkeley but from our own web page.

I'm sure many of the crew are interested in updating to BOINC 4.19, but if you hold off a bit maybe you can help us test this new download page. (Actually, even if you have already upgraded you can still try the download.)

Those of us that already have the BOINC 4.19 working since some time ago, will be able to help you out?

Does that mean that we wil have to download it again from your own page?

EagleEye - with a tremendous running nose - nice climate here! Ho-ho-ho.... - close to cero Celsius in a city where normal is 15....

Didn't remark a difference with precendent page ...

It's actually not different yet. I'm waiting for some help
on this from Berkeley.

Okay, the download page now tries to get the CC for various platforms directly from Berkely. It doesn't work right now, but hopefully a little tweaking will get it right.

David Anderson just made a change on their end, so now it should work as intended. You get the Pirates download page, but downloads are from the central BOINC server. And we can change it back and forth easily.
