Error 403 is "Forbidden". It means that the page you are requesting may or may not exist, but that you are prohibited from accessing it. (404 means the requested page does not exist.)

A visit to the main pirate page shows this status:
Access to the Pirates@Home scheduler is restricted to our local domain for testing.

You are doing fine. The scheduler here is restricted, so your client won't get work, but there is nothing wrong on your end.

This kind of restriction is generally imposed when we are testing something that is not ready for public release. In this case the test appears successful, and so a new version of the lalanne app will be released shortly and the restriction will go away. These kinds of restrictions may come and go in the next few days or so.

Have been testing the old Eistein, understand a new app is comming out and would like to crunch it.

Yes, a newer, faster app will soon appear on Einstein@Home, but not here. Your machine will download it automatically as it fetches new work. The current Pirate mission is not (directly) related to Einstein@Home.

G'day Doug

I took your advice about minimi and d/l'd a copy. I'm impressed with the livecd version. I haven't yet, but I'm planning on installing it on one of my better spec'd boxes as a test.

Trog Dog,

"Right-on dude", Yes, it is a great Distro, best benchs I have had
assides running XP.Symnaptic has over 5000 pkg,s that are stable, you know the score. Also am turning w/u in that are comparable to Xp,That is the way it should be.

Way to Trog, If there is any assistance I could offer you please ask.I am still a newbie though, LOL, it is easier than XP.From live c/d wipes all clean, soooo sweet/

Which Kernel did you get from the new MiniMe 2.6.15,? I just looked at mine and something is wrong. Will get back here to finish.

Sincerely

Doug
