How did you post on the forums if you don't have an account? Or are you posting on behalf of somebody else?

I was working on the account creation form the other day. (You will notice that you can now select a team to join as part of creating a new account.) I accidentally left the invitation code requirement in place. It's been removed. Welcome aboard.

But just in case he ever accidentally enables it again, the old codes are still valid. Things like blunderbuss and !grog4U .. Find the other ones through the search option, found at the bottom of the index page of the forums.

Since the topic has come up I decided to try something I'd been thinking about. Invitation codes are now in effect. All the previous ones should work.

It's there if you are not logged in, but if you are already logged in then why do you need that link?

I did finally understood this code's meaning (I hope at least), previously that time when it was valid, I somehow omitted the exclamation mark. Now it makes just the opposite sense. Nice! (A bitter meaning...)

It's our Captain trying to make you drink a grog. But I refuse to drink a normal grog. Only my mum's grog is best:

1 part whiskey
1 part cognac
1 part rum
1 bit of squeezed out lemon juice
hot water
4 spoons of brown sugar

Drink one of them and you don't care about your cold, or indeed, the world anymore. You just fall over and sleep. :-D

(when she got this recipe, she missed the "or" between the different parts of booze! ;))

No, not really. It looks like the Capt'n is trying to withhold the grog from us!! Damned!

Maybe that's the reason it tastes so good!!

I'm getting questions on this one. So here's the complete one.

Get a big glass. Similarly sized to a half pint or pint beaker you get from McDonalds. Make sure it's heavy glass, not thin.

Add 1 part of whiskey, cognac (or vieux or vieille) and rum in it.
Add the 4 table spoons of brown sugar.
Put some squeezed out lemon in it, or add 4 table spoons of pre-squeezed juice.
Fill the rest of glass with boiling water.

Stir to mix it all.
Drink while it's hot. Not too hot of course, but hot like you have your coffee or tea.

None of the booze needs to be high priced high quality.
Like you will notice the difference. :)

Sigh. Somehow the table name got capitalized in a code "cleanup" :-)

Please try again.

I can confirm that you won't care about anything after one of these.... And will sleep for a good long time.
