The screensaver is the best i've seen yet...There's even a clock and calendar embedded in the flow of information...Pretty damn impressive...Still trying to find secret messages.

I've never noticed this before, so sorry if it's obvious.

If you open the graphics and watch for a while then suspend the wu, the graphics continue to run for as long as you like even though no processing is being done. As I say, it's probably quite obvious but it was a bonus that I wasn't expecting, or at least hadn't realised before. :0)

So the longest run on the great wide oceans over. Only two little wu still wait for validation.

How did the lot fare?

Why aren't they validated while the validators are turned on?

Why did we have such a beautiful and marvelous giant run? Only to test server loads?

Are we still testing or is capt'n busy playing ultimate frisbee with boats?

Wormholio has been busy with personal things the past couple of weeks, a LIGO workshop is looming in his future, so he's not sure when this next round of testing will continue.

I have indeed, unfortunately, been too busy with other things, and when I realized that this was going to happen I suspended the last round of testing. It was aimed at testing server load, and then supposed improvements which would help relieve that load, but I needed (and still need) the system to be stable for a bit longer. We will pick up where we left off later. I did get some ideas for things to try to help keep the database server from dragging us down.

I have not been out to play ultimate frisbee with sailboats, but I really wish I was. :-)
