Hi all. I've been having a few problems since Einstein crashed in early Dec, mainly the error 'Couldn't delete file (filename)...' and cannot complete a Einstein wu without it failing either. I cannot manually delete those files that BOINC could not either.

I have posted to other forums, but would like to try all avenues for help. Reading the posts throughout Pirates I've seen a lot of knowledgeable responses from the Capt'n and the crew, so it couldn't hurt to ask here too.

Thanks Nicolas for the reply. I was ok on v5.2.13 and then after the crash the problems started. I tried upgrading to v5.4.11 but it was still happening, so then I uninstalled and deleted everything then reinstalled, but this didn't fix it either. Since the problem has happened now on two different versions, should I still upgrade to the latest test version (v5.8.3)?
