While modifying my Pirates@Home preferences, I've got the idea to create separate preferences for Home or Work. I can fill in the required data, press the "Add preferences" button, but the preferences won't get created.

Additionally, I'm missing any short description or example for the Home Port's Latitude & Longitude format - there are multiple possible combinations of orientation, degrees, minutes and seconds with fractional places. KMZ files seem to use the ±ddd.nnnnnnnnn format, does the preference parser intelligently support the others too? (Any text causes it not to complain "Cannot parse degrees: >< from preg_replace() gives ". For the Altitude, it is described nearly perfectly).

[edit]Regarding the format and intelligent parsing, I'm sorry for already having forgotten the long discussion in the BOINC Users @ Google Earth II thread. But the missing format hint still applies (being it e.g. "...in any known format.." or so).[/edit]
