My two linux boxes (Damn Small Linux 2.0 linux kernel 2.4.31) have processed 9 wu's between them. All wu's have errored out with signal 11.

I know the mission is to build the message boards.

Question is - do these hello world wu's have a purpose, or are they just there so we can get a nominal credit?

No, they have a mission. So far all hello workunits have failed for BOINC 5, and even the ones I'm running in standalone mode (in the directory I'm building them) have SIGSEGV'd. I'm hoping it's my compiler configuration, not a BOINC error, but we shall see...

But application development takes a back burner to the forum work.
