Just noticed this. When you are not logged in and you view a forum thread the messages are not sorted by "oldest first". Once you log in then the sort order is corrected. ____________ Free Tibet/ Tibet Libre Team Forum

What has this got to do with cookies? The default drop down sort order is oldest first. To see what I mean log out, clear your cache then look at some forum threads. As noted in the title this is a trivial point, however, since the primary goal of this pirate mission is development of the forums this is still a valid bug, albeit trivial. ____________ Free Tibet/ Tibet Libre Team Forum

I noticed this behaviour last week when using a public terminal, but I did not figure out that it was due to not being logged in. I've just found and changed the place where this default is set. If you are not logged in then it assumes a default ordering. If you are logged in then the order you select from the pulldown at the top of the page is saved in a cookie.
