I finally got one of the test WUs from Pirates@Home, so I decided to bump the ResourceShare for that project. Updated it from Preferenced on the Pirates@H account management page.

I then went into the GUI and "updated" Pirates, but the %ResourceShare displayed on the GUI Resource Share column of the Projects tab has not changed.

I've tried Updating on a variety of machines

P4/W2k/BOINC 4.09
P4/W2K/BOINC 4.05
PIII/NT4/BOINC 4.05
PIII/Win98se/Boinc 4.09

None of them show the updated resource share

You may need to restart the client to get the new setting to take effect.

Restarted all the GUIs and on a couple of machines that had not ceceived a WU, reset the project. All machines still show the origin Resource Share.

OK, all of my home machines now show the updated Resource Share, without my having done anything.

Resource shares won't change until any project gets updated, whether manually or not.
