I wish we had a bit more privacy.
I need to try to lock down the site a bit more, so that personal information is not shown to the general internet. So you must now be logged in to view a user's profile, and I'm working on the profile index pages. Are there any other pages which are viewable without being logged in which show username, profile, or picture (even avatar)?
This is for the I2U2 project, which will host students on its site, not for BOINC. We will likely relax the restriction once this exercise has been completed.
Thank you, as always, for the help.

The forums can be read without being logged in, so any avatar showing there can be seen without a problem.

Only the General Issues section is public. And it's true, the name and Avatar show up there. The Crew Issues is private, and has been for some time, unless that's broken too.

If you mean, do I need to log in to read the Crew Issues forum? No. I can read it while I am logged off.

I can only read the topics but not the threads when am logged off.

Fixed. Now one cannot read Crew Issues at all unless logged in, as was the case before the last upgrade. Thanks for noting it.

You really need to read your email (or pirate parchment) more diligently.
