Really smooth run so far I think.

Maybe we can run into stormy weather soon.

MAC Intel doesn't seem to work either.

I dunno about th’ graphics ’cause I haven’t caught a task runnin’ yet, but me Core 2 Duo iMac seems t’ave been doin’ fine.

Correction: it got one compute error, “process got signal 4”.

The work creation stopped. I thought it would at least go through the 19th.

This run is concluding. Here are the statistics:

As the thread title says, this was a re-run of cube 6.06. There was nothing new in this run. The purpose was:

1. Since the 6th BOINC workshop was being held in London last week, followed by the Citizen Cyberscience Summit, I thought it might be nice to give out some work, and to let the world know that the project is still around (queue the Monty Python clip where Eric Idle says "I'm not dead yet").

2. On Wednesday evening I gave a talk about BOINC to the Mid-Hudson Valley Linux Users Group. I even mentioned Pirates@Home briefly, and I wanted any visitors to see the project running. (You can view the slides here.)

3. It's been way too long since there was any work here, and I just wanted to light up the cluster and see how many of the crew had not yet jumped ship.

I do hope to have something more interesting in the near future, but not until the server gets an upgrade. It's been running Fedora Core 4, which has worked fine for a very long time, but it's now too old to build the latest version of the BOINC server. So the next thing to expect is that the server may be in dry dock for a bit. After that, we should try out the latest version of the server software, and after that... we shall see.

Can you have the system please run a stats update after all the units hath returned to port and validated? I see by the gages that the last run was done whilst I still had pending. By the dial there are a few buggers still in the wild and need to find their way back home.
